Paris Hilton wants to get married this year.

The hotel heiress has revealed she can see herself tying the knot to boyfriend Doug Reinhardt over the next twelve months because their "amazing" relationship has curbed her partying ways.

She said: "I wouldn't rule out a wedding in 2010. With how amazing everything is going between us, I see a very bright and happy future.

"He's taught me how real love can feel. Doug's taught me how to grow up and become more domestic, as in not going out as much as I used to."

Paris - who reconciled with Doug in August following a brief split - is not the only one who is smitten.

The 'Hills' star Doug can't wait to get the blonde socialite down the aisle and thinks she would make a "perfect" wife.

He added to Life and Style magazine: "Paris is the most beautiful girl in the world. I am so in love with her - I feel like I'm the luckiest guy in the world. She is gorgeous, smart, funny and kind. My family loves her, and she would make the perfect wife."

David Hasselhoff has quit 'America's Got Talent'.

The former 'Baywatch' actor, who was hospitalised a number of times in 2009, claimed to be working on an as-yet-unknown TV show.

The 57-year-old actor said: "I am proud that I was part of making 'America's Got Talent' the number one rated show for the past four summers.

"It's been a rewarding experience and now I'm thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly."

Hasselhoff leaves a gap on the judging panel of the reality TV show alongside Brits Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan. No names have yet been suggested as a replacement.

A statement from the programme's broadcasters, NBC, said: "David's been an integral part of 'America's Got Talent' and we are sad to see him go."

In October, it was suggested that the actor was signing up for a new TV programme with US TV network A + E.

Hasselhoff's daughter Hayley wrote on her twitter blog: "The Hasselhoffs signed the deal with A + E... Get ready for it."

Charlie Sheen's wife told police she was terrified the actor was going to kill her when he allegedly attacked her with a knife.

Brooke Mueller - mother of the 'Two and a Half Men' star's nine-month-old twin sons, Bob and Max - made a frantic 911 call after a blazing row at the couple's holiday home in Aspen, Colorado, on Christmas Day (25.12.09).

According to gossip website TMZ, in the phone call Mueller told officers: "My husband had me with a knife and I'm scared for my life, and he threatened me. I thought I was going to die."

In the call, Mueller identifies herself as "Brooke" and pauses when the operator asks for her husband's name.

She then replied: "It's Charlie Sheen."

Sheen, 44, was arrested on investigation of second-degree assault, a felony charge, and criminal mischief, a misdemeanour charge, and spent much of his sons Bob and Max's first Christmas behind bars.

He was later released on an $8,500 bail and while he was not charged, a court date has been set for February 8 2010.

It has since been claimed the alleged attack happened after Mueller told Sheen she wanted to end their 17-month marriage.

A source said: "Brooke told Charlie, 'I want a divorce.' She said she was leaving him for good."

Friends say the couple have different lifestyles and the marriage isn't working.

One pal said: "Brooke is very social and loves to be with other people and Charlie, when he's not working or rehearsing for his show, prefers to stay home. He's not into the Hollywood scene and doesn't even enjoy going out to dinner."

Sheen was previously married to actress Denise Richards, with who he has two young daughters, Sam and Lola, with as well as a 25-year-old daughter Cassandra from a previous relationship.

Van Morrison has become a father for the third time.

The 64-year-old singer - whose real name is George Ivan Morrison - and partner Gigi Lee welcomed son George Ivan Morrison III into the world yesterday (28.12.09).

The 'Brown Eyed Girl' hitmaker wrote on his website: "Gigi and Van Morrison are proud to announce the birth of their first born son, George Ivan Morrison III. Little Van, born Dec 28, 2009 - the spitting image of his daddy. He is a citizen of Northern Ireland/United Kingdom and the United States."

A spokesman for Morrison - who was born in Northern Ireland but now splits his time between the UK and America - said the couple are keeping the birth location private.

Morrison has two grown up daughters from previous relationships.

Earlier this year, Morrison banned fans from drinking alcohol at his concerts.

The legendary musician - who battled alcohol addiction in the 70s and 80s and is now teetotal - told bosses at the Brighton Dome in Sussex, England, not to sell any alcohol before or during his performance in September because it might disturb his singing.

Robbie Williams thinks it is "about time" he became a father.

The 35-year-old singer admits he and girlfriend Ayda Field have discussed starting a family and expect it to happen in the near future as they are ready to settle down.

He said: "That's definitely on the agenda - little monkeys running around. It's about time. I've had a good innings."

Despite proposing to 30-year-old Ayda live on Australian radio last month, Robbie insists it was just a joke and he and the actress have no plans to marry.

He told Closer magazine: "I've been going out with her for nearly three years and solidly for a year and a half. But I want us to play around and have more fun and not be grown-ups yet."

The 'Bodies' star is content with his relationship with Ayda and believes they would still be together even if he wasn't famous.

He added: "She digs me and I dig her, she knows who I am and I know who she is.

"I trust her 100 per cent and there isn't even a glimmer of worry of her only liking me for all this singing thing.

"I'm a pretty cool guy without all of that anyway!"

When asked the secret to their long relationship, Robbie says it is "the little things like cuddles and tickles" and insists they never fight.

He said: "We never fall out, we just get on and make each other laugh. We're a good team."

Charlie Sheen and his wife are to have marriage counselling.

The 44-year-old 'Two and a Half Men' actor and spouse Brooke Mueller, 32 - with who he has twin sons Bob and Max, nine months - are said to be doing all they can to save their relationship after he was arrested for assaulting her on Christmas Day (25.12.09).

A source said: "Brooke and Charlie still love each other, but they are very different.

"For the good of the children they definitely want to see if counselling will help before anything further is decided."

According to the insider, the incident was triggered when Brooke questioned the future of their relationship.

The source told People magazine: "Brooke asked Charlie for a separation and divorce. This caused his temper to flair resulting in the incident that landed him in jail."

Charlie was arrested for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief while the pair were holidaying with family in Aspen for Christmas.

Details of the telephone call made by Brooke to the police were revealed yesterday (29.12.09).

She said: "My husband had me with a knife and I'm scared for my life, and he threatened me. I thought I was going to die."

She paused when asked his name, before confirming: "It's Charlie Sheen."

Friends of the couple have already suggested that their marriage - which is Charlie's third, having previously been married to actress Denise Richards and Donna Peele - is not working.

One pal said: "Brooke is very social and loves to be with other people and Charlie, when he's not working or rehearsing for his show, prefers to stay home."

Kate Moss was forced to delay her holiday because she got so drunk.

The supermodel - who was due to welcome in the New Year in Thailand - had to postpone the trip because she overindulged in food and champagne celebrating Christmas with boyfriend Jamie Hince and her daughter Lila Grace, seven.

A source said: "Kate goes away every New Year and booked this year's trip over four months ago. Unfortunately she rather overindulged during the festive period, stuffing herself with turkey and all the trimmings, alcohol and Christmas pudding.

"After drinking champagne from 10am onwards, she felt really ill all afternoon. Jamie told Kate in no uncertain terms that she would not be flying anywhere."

Kate was unable to get a refund on the four first class flights she had paid for, as well as two nights unused accommodation, but was reportedly planning to fly out to Thailand last night (29.12.09), three days later than planned.

The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Kate was devastated and only cheered up when Jamie promised they'd still go away.

"Annoyingly, she can't get a refund, so after paying for more flights for her family, she has been joking she has a £20, 000 hangover. All things considered she has taken it really well."

Amy Winehouse is reportedly set to spend New Year's Eve (31.12.09) in hospital.

Worried friends and family of the 'Back To Black' singer have reportedly pleaded with her to seek help after she spent much of the Christmas period drinking heavily alone while battle a chest infection.

A source said: "Amy is in a bit of a state at the moment, she's feeling very sad and lonely. She is also extremely emotional. She's spent a lot of time over Christmas at home on her own drinking.

"Amy's been battling an acute chest infection for weeks and it's really starting to take a toll on her health.

"Amy has wound herself up into such a state she knows her best place for her is in the hospital. She needs to dry out and stop drinking."

Pals believe Amy, 26, will listen to their pleas because she is determined to get her life back on track, despite recent setbacks.

The singer - who has angered her family by rekindling her romance with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil - reportedly collapsed at home because of her chest infection, which was aggravated by the stress of her recent arrest for common assault at a theatre earlier this month.

A friend explained: "The last week has been a massive setback for Amy who was really turning a corner. Everyone in her camp is shocked by what has happened.

"But their main concern is making sure she feels better. Then she can throw herself into her music.

"The new year isn't getting off to the best start but Amy is determined and she'll keep looking forward."

Kevin Jonas bought his new wife glass slippers to wear at their wedding so she could feel like Cinderella.

The Jonas Brothers singer wed Danielle Deleasa in a romantic ceremony on December 19 and he was determined to give the nuptials a fairytale feel.

He told People magazine: "I knew that my princess needed her glass slippers and her castle. I've never seen a more beautiful bride."

The couple - who had been dating for two years - held their wedding breakfast in a heated marquee decorated with an enchanted forest and icicle-shaped crystal decorations.

Danielle added: "I always wanted my wedding to have that princess feel. I couldn't have imagined this."

The wedding went ahead despite a blizzard threatening to ruin the nuptials, and was attended by 400 family members and friends, including Demi Lovato, who starred with The Jonas Brothers in 'Camp Rock'.

Danielle - who was led down the aisle by her father, Thomas Deleasa - also wore a silk-and-crystal flower in her hair because she was wearing one when she met Kevin in the Bahamas in 2007.

Kevin's brothers, Joe, 20, and Nick, 17, served as his best men, while the bride and groom recited traditional vows and exchanged Jacob and Co. wedding rings they'd designed for one another.

Simon Cowell wants to create a cartoon series.

The music mogul - who earned an estimated $75 million last year - is a big fan of animated show 'The Simpsons' but admits he is jealous of its worldwide success.

He said: "Their appeal is broad and it makes a lot of money. You kind of hate them for making so much money. It makes me physically sick knowing how much money they have made over the years.

"Maybe I should start a cartoon one day."

Simon, 50, has previously made cameo appearances on the show - but admits he only took part to preserve his youth.

He explained on TV show 'The Simpsons: Celebrity Friends': "It's the best thing to get the call. You last forever and are young forever on that show, so I love it.

"The only reason for doing it is to look good and stay young forever."

The 'American Idol' and 'Britain's Got Talent' star recently signed up to make another appearance on the cartoon, despite admitting his last appearance didn't go well.

He said: "They obviously hated me as I had to do it over and over again.

"I could actually feel the rolling of eyeballs. It was like, 'After take 57 Simon could we have a little bit more reality?' It was painful."
