Daniel Radcliffe will bare all twice in the next 'Harry Potter' movie.

The actor - who has previously stripped for his part in stage production 'Equus', both in London and New York - will stun fans when he gets close to Emma Watson's character Hermione Granger during a fantasy sequence in 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows'.

Director David Yates revealed: "Daniel has appeared nude in the past. There are a couple of scenes in the new film in which he will undress but we're still thinking about how we present it."

The scene occurs when Harry's best friend and Hermione's love interest Ron Weasley, played by Rupert Grint, is battling a monster which tries to defend itself by flashing a series of images where Harry and Hermione are kissing and embracing."

Daniel will then expose himself in a later scene following a brush with death.

The director added: "There is another scene in Kings Cross station, where Harry almost dies and sees Dumbledore. In that scene he will also be naked."

Daniel, 20, has previously admitted he was surprised by how comfortable he was appearing nude on stage.

He said: "It never really was an issue. I don't know why, it probably should have been. I am terribly self-conscious. Although I remember I did look at my dad once and say, 'Do you think I could wear pants?' "

'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' is being split into two instalments, with the first due for release next year. It is unclear in which parts the nude scenes will appear.

Robert De Niro, Bruce Springsteen and Mel Brooks have been given lifetime achievement awards.

The legendary entertainers were praised by the US President Barack Obama at the Kennedy Center Honours yesterday (06.12.09), where they were presented with their accolades at a black-tie event for transforming the arts in America.

US leader Obama told the 300 celebrity guests - which included Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Edward Norton, Matthew Broderick and Philip Seymour Hoffman - at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts that the entertainers were being honoured because they were "the best".

He said: "These performers are indeed the best. They are also living reminders of a single truth - and I'm going to steal a line from my wife Michelle here - the arts are not somehow apart from our national life, the arts are the heart of our national life."

Veteran actress Meryl Streep was one of many stars to praise the award-winners.

Speaking about Robert, she said: "Bob has earned the respect he enjoys around the world in the thousands of little bitty details."

Legendary rocker Bruce said it was "satisfying" for his music to be recognised because he and his group, E Street Band, have worked hard for their fans.

He said: "We worked really hard for our music to be part of American life and our fans' lives.

"So it's an acknowledgment that you've kind of threaded your way into the culture in a certain way. It's satisfying."

As well as rewarding actor Robert, musician Bruce and funnyman Mel, jazz pianist Dave Brubeck and opera singer Grace Bumbry were also honoured.

Billy Joel insists his daughter will be "fine" following her alleged suicide bid.

Alexa Ray Joel - daughter of the 'Piano Man' singer and ex-wife Christie Brinkley - was rushed to hospital on Saturday (05.12.09) when she was discovered by her friend after reportedly taking eight sleeping pills.

She was treated at New York's St. Vincent Hospital before being released later that evening.

Her famous father's representative said: "She is in a stable condition. She is going to be fine."

Although it has officially been claimed that 23-year-old Alexa took sleeping pills, sources claim she had taken the homeopathic antihistamine Traumeel.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Her friend said Alexa had taken pills and was feeling despondent. She said she wasn't feeling good about herself."

In August, Alexa described herself on her MySpace page as "forgotten".

She also revealed she hated dating and considered herself "terrible" at it.

Alexa - who split up from boyfriend Jimmy Riot twice last year - wrote: "I HATE the game-playing! Can't stand it."

Hulk Hogan has got engaged.

The legendary wrestler - real name Terry Bollea - and his girlfriend of nearly two years, Jennifer McDaniel, will tie the knot after he popped the question.

A source said: "He is engaged and very happy."

The date for the wedding is not yet known.

The news comes just fives months after Hulk finalised his divorce from ex-wife Linda Bollea, after 25 years together.

Speaking afterwards, Linda admitted she would always love the former WWE grappler - with who she has two children, Nick, 19, and Brooke, 21 - and pledged to stay in contact with him.

She said: "The war is over. I still love him. He's the father of my children. My husband took the big step of stopping this escalating war by making the decision to put this behind us. I am grateful to him for realising that our family can be happier and stronger by working together. He and I both love our family dearly and look forward to working together to make it stronger than it has ever been. My family means the world to me."

Although the pair are now on speaking terms, the initial stages of their divorce were bitterly fought and Hulk, 56, revealed he had contemplated suicide.

In his autobiography, 'My Life Outside the Ring', Hulk wrote: "There were times when I thought that a whole bottle of pills would go down easy.

"Then I noticed the gun in my hand. I was careless with it... I kept my finger pressed right to that trigger... and if I moved that finger an inch in the right direction I would have blown my brains out."

Hulk shot to fame in the 80s as the World Wrestling Federation champion and with appearances in a string of films, including 'Rocky III' in which he fought the title character.

His most famous match against Andre the Giant - real name Andre Rene Roussimoff - at Wrestlemania III in 1987 drew a crowd of around 93,000 and several million TV viewers.

Hugh Grant has nightmares about reaching 50.

The Hollywood bachelor - who previously dated actress-and-model Elizabeth Hurley and socialite Jemima Khan - is dreading reaching the landmark age and fears time is running out for him to get married and have children.

Hugh - who turns 50 on September 9 2010 - said: "It's not a good number 50 and we all have age terrors sometimes in the middle of the night. I think I might have made a sort of pact with the devil in which I think I can have fun now and sort everything later. But then he comes back and says, 'Times up and I'm taking you to hell as you're going to be a lonely, sad old man.' "

Although the 'Bridget Jones' Diary' star worries he won't ever become a father, he believes he would be a great dad if he did.

He told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I have no doubt that I'd be a marvellous father. Maybe not when they're tiny but when they're a little bit older I think I'd be rather good. I've noticed I've become good with my nephews and nieces and cousins, so I don't have that doubt."

Leona Lewis was reportedly paid $150,000 for a private concert.

The 'Happy' singer was flown by private jet to Monte Carlo for the birthday party of Romania's richest man on Saturday (05.12.09).

Leona sang a short set for 25 guests in the exclusive show at a private banqueting suite in the state's Hotel De Paris.

The singer then flew to Germany where she wowed millions of TV viewers with a performance on hugely popular show 'Wetten Dass', for which she wore a short white dress.

Although she agreed to perform at the private party, Leona has previously turned down other lucrative earning opportunities. Last month, it emerged Leona had been offered over $1.5 million to appear naked in men's magazine Playboy.

Although she was "flattered" to have been asked to appear in the pages of the publication, Leona is simply too shy to strip off for a shoot.

She has previously said: "I'm not that confident! I just don't think I could pose nude, because I'm not that brave."

Leona is not the only pop star to cash in with a private performance.

Rihanna is reportedly set to earn $500,000 to perform at a New Year's Eve party (31.12.09).

The 'Umbrella' singer has been asked to sing at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi to help revellers see in 2010 in what will be her first performance in the Middle East.

Amy Adams will find out the sex of her unborn baby.

The 'Doubt' actress - who is expecting her first child with fiance Darren Le Gallo - admits she is "too impatient" to wait for the child to be born before finding out whether she's having a boy or a girl.

She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "I'm too impatient to wait for a surprise. We'll probably find out. I thought about waiting and I just don't think that's really my personality. It's not about planning a nursery, it's more about I just want to know. I want to be able to relate in that way. That's what works for me, but I totally believe in whatever works for the individual."

Amy, 35, got engaged to Darren last July but says she's been too busy to get married. But now she's got some time off she's going to start planning their nuptials.

She said: "We actually had a date, and then we had to push it because I took a part. I actually had to get permission and I called him and said, 'We're actually going to have to push the date.' Now that I have the time off we'll definitely be planning it."

Peter Andre has vowed never to take ex-wife Katie Price back.

The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer insists Katie's recent erratic behaviour shows why he will never take her back, and labelled rumours they will reunite at Christmas "offensive".

A source close to the singer - who raises three children with Katie, Harvey, Seven, Junior, four and Princess Tiaamii - told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "There is no way Pete would ever get back with Katie.

"He is shocked to the core that rumours are circulating that they get back together. If people knew the whole story and everything that has happened over the past year they'd understand why it's very offensive for people to even ask him if they're going to get back together."

Peter, 36, has remained tight-lipped on why he decided to dump 31-year-old Katie in May and insists he will never reveal the real reason because he doesn't want his children to grow up with such "sordid details" in the public domain.

The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer is now looking forward to Christmas with his family.

He said: "I'm looking forward to 2010, new challenges and adventures. I've bought three different Christmas trees and have chosen a different theme in each room."

Roman Polanski is expected be released from jail tomorrow (04.12.09).

The 76-year-old film director will be placed under house arrest at his chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland, where he will be made to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet until a decision is made whether he is extradited back to America over a conviction for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.

Polanski - who was arrested in September while attending a film festival in Zurich - was granted bail last week but remained in custody until he paid the full amount of $4.5 million.

A spokeswoman from the justice ministry said: "He will be taken to Gstaad on Friday and will arrive by 2pm.

"The bail money has been deposited and there are a few administrative procedures left to do."

The £1,200 installation fee for the electronic monitoring and £120 monthly maintenance cost will be met by Polanski.

The filmmaker had had three previous bail attempts denied but authorities say they believe the high price he has posted will be enough to make him stick to the conditions of his house arrest.

In 1977, he pleaded guilty to charges of having underage sex with 13-year-old Samantha Gailey, now known as Samantha Geimer.

He believed he would face a jail term of just 42 days, and claimed a judge had reneged on a plea bargain deal to reduce the charges from rape and serious sexual assault if he admitted under-age sex. However, on the day of his sentencing he fled to London then Paris.

France does not have an extradition treaty to the US, so if he escaped over the boarder he would be safe.
