Chris Brown’s Bad Day In Rehab Results In a Prison Sentence
Chris Brown just can’t stay out of trouble, can he? The 24-year-old singer has been sentenced to stay to stay in behind bars till the end of April, after saying that he was pretty handy with “guns and knives” during a group therapy session. His lawyer had attempted to have him placed under house arrest which was denied. This isn’t the first time that Christopher Maurice Brown has felt the long arm of the law slap him around the back of the head for being a total idiot. Would any of us be surprised if it was the last time, either?
Chris had found himself in treatment back in November after a man had accused him of assault in Washington D.C. So what does the future hold for Chris? Is he bound to be a repeat offender, going from dumb stunt to dumb stunt, or will he amend his ways and become an angelic role model the kids can look up to? I doubt the latter scenario will materialise but he’ll sure try and talk a good game, bless him.
Since being found guilty of assaulting Rihanna in 2009, ‘Breezy’ hasn’t done much to change his public image, drawing scorn and sympathy in equal measure from pretty everyone who’s heard his name. He has been involved in a string of fights with other, high-profile, names like Frank Ocean, Drake and NBA player Tony Parker to name just a few. If you really want to see just how much trouble Brown has been in during his life, just compare how long ‘Success and comparison to other artists’ section on his Wikipedia page is to ‘Domestic Violence Case’ and ‘Other Legal Issues and Rehab’ sections. They’re significantly longer .
Is Brown just an idiot with a temper or does he need genuine counselling and people to leave him alone for a while? That’s a tricky question to answer right now. Rihanna once said of him, “He’s not the monster everybody thinks. He’s a good person. He has a fantastic heart. He’s giving and loving. And he’s fun to be around. That’s what I love about him – he always makes me laugh. All I want to do is laugh, really – and I do that with him.”
