Dappy always gives his mum "wads of cash" when he sees her.
The 'No Regrets' singer says he regrets how he used to act towards his parents so likes to make it up for it when they meet up.
The father-of-two told TOTP magazine: "I regret being rude to my mum and dad when I was younger.
"My softer side comes out when I'm with my mum and my kids. I love them unconditionally. Whenever I see my mum I give her flowers and slap a wad of cash on the table for her."
Dappy is determined that his sons, Gino, three, and 13-month-old Milo, won't make the same mistakes as him when growing up and wants them to make the most of their lives.
He said: "I will tell them off if I feel like any school-related problems occur. School is a must, exercising is a must and just being a good and happy kid is a must.
"I've said it before, but never give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about. That's my thing. If you can't stop thinking about something, you have to work hard to get it. I'd be depressed for the rest of my life if I couldn't achieve the things I could never stop thinking about."
