Since it’s inception in 2010, many food critics and bloggers have raved about BRGR.CO. Starting out with a branch in Soho then Chelsea and now soon to open up in Beirut, Lebanon, the restaurant offers one of the best tasting burgers for under £6.
BRGR.CO offers seven types of burgers, including a vegetarian option of falafel and Mediterranean veggie sandwich and two signature burgers priced under £14. If your not feeling up to a large meal, you have the choice of the Afternoon Tea (priced at £17, offering burger sliders, homemade infused teas and luscious desserts!
Started by Tom and Phil who worked in Brighton restaurant and decided to opt out and start their own burger joint. Starting out in Brixton, with make shift furniture and limited staff, Honest Burgers has made its own mark in Soho.
Now Honest Burger has in Soho, Brixton, Portobello, Camden, Kings Cross, Oxford Circus, Tooting, Liverpool Street and Clapham. They aim to focus on one thing (burgers) and do that at the best of their abilities. The beef is dry aged and chicken is free range and to top it off they also offer gluten free buns in all of their restaurants, making the food fresh, tasty and healthy.
The restaurant offers Brunch, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Burgers are under £10 with five options to choose from, a chicken burger and market vegetables. They also offer good Beers, Ciders and Cocktails (with one named Honest Cocktail) that compliment the food and add to the experience.
In true American Diner style, The Diner takes you back to typical 60’s dining experience at the local diner. Choose a red booth and order the best milkshakes, burgers, fries and all other American style diner food.
American portions are served (supersize everything!) in quirky baskets and diner dinnerware, with burgers costing just under £9 and Oreo and snickers milkshakes for dessert. The Diner also offers great pancakes, breakfast and Mexican food on the side for those looking for variety.
From the streets of Malaysia, Mandy Yin brings you street food and epic Malaysian burgers inspired from Kuala Lumpur and Malay cuisine. Sambal is a traditional Malaysian chilli sauce (used in the burgers) and Shiok means ‘wow this is delicious’ in Malaysian.
The menu has unusual ingredients such as chicken satay, lentil and beef burgers using coconut, peanuts and spicy sauces. The vegan options are Rice box and Salad box (both which are gluten free) and don’t forget the daily specials!
