Cargo shoreditch Review
Cargo is one of the larger clubs in Shoreditch where you should head for a late night of kicks and tricks. It’s known for being a shining star on the London live band and DJ scene but when the sun is shining, the massive decked garden with a BBQ, fooseball table and comfortable seating is equally inviting. The price tag for their sun-kissed lunches and dinners are very moderate and the outside terrace is stunning. Expect bar snacks, gourmet burgers, pizzas, salads and sharing platters. As the night draws in, Cargo turns into a banging club as the fierce local and international DJs who command the dance floor play House music, but the spectrum flows from funky soul, dubstep, electro swing, minimal techno and indie, depending on the performer of the night. Cargo also hosts the best in up-and-coming live bands throughout the week.
Cargo bar and club is one of Shoreditch’s best loved bars and clubs for its original interior flair and interesting lighting effects and you shouldn’t arrive after 11 if you don’t want to queue. It attracts a young and trendy East End crowd but not the most edgy, achingly cool hipsters. You should dress with some style however to pass easily by the bouncer’s dress code criteria or you’ll be denied. Entry fees vary depending on the night and time you arrive but range from £10-£20 normally which is good value
