Zooey Deschanel likes telling dirty jokes.
The 31-year-old actress enjoys working with a male-dominated cast on 'New Girl' has helped her appreciate "guy humour" more.
She said: "I love being on set with the guys. It's wonderful - I really enjoy it. The actors are really fun to work with. We have a great time on set. And I'm on set so much of the time that it does actually feel like I'm living with those guys!"
"I've always been really girlie. I think it's definitely made me understand guy humour a little bit more. I can tell a dirty joke!"
Zooey tries hard to be "normal" but has learned not to worry about her quirky image.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "You know, I always wanted to be normal! I try so hard to be normal, and then people still say I'm offbeat! Being an actor, you realise you have a persona and that you have to accept it. I'm just glad they have something nice to say, it's flattering."
