Live Performance from X Factor Finalists 5 After Midnight
Jordan, Kieran and Nathan make up the trio that is 5 After Midnight. From three solo artists on a constant losing streak to one of the most successful acts in this years X Factor, they’ve come a long way and have no intention of stopping. Jordan from East London previously worked in a Casino whilst Kieran was an aspiring actor and Nathan a semi-pro basketball player and street dance teacher, the group have combined their talents to make the most standout group in the competition.
After an unsuccessful streak as solo artists Jordan, Kieran and Nathan decided to form a trio titled 5AM which later changed to 5 After Midnight for legal reasons. The group wowed the judges in their first audition with a rendition of Drake’s hit One Dance. Louis admitted that he ‘didn’t expect it to be that good’ and had Scherzinger dancing from beginning to end branding it ‘a solid audition with a good vibe’, thus beginning their X Factor journey. Sailing through the Six Chair Challenge with How Deep Is Your Love by Calvin Harris and as predicted they smashed it out of the water at Judge’s Houses with Alesha Dixon saying they have ‘huge potential’.
While other contestants showed great vocal talent, 5 After Midnight proved to be the full package with not only harmonious vocals, but smooth dance moves and infectious smiles. They gained the hearts of all females and a few males across the nation; amongst these fans were Michelle Keegan and last year’s X Factor winner Louise Johnson.
Without fail, week after week 5 After Midnight have hit the stage bursting with energy which didn’t go unnoticed by the judges and viewing public who gave them rave reviews each week granting them a ticket to the final. We have by no means seen the last of this thrilling trio of talent as they continue their success with a live performance at Shaka Zulu on Friday 16th December.
They promise we haven’t seen the last of them and we’re sure they won’t disappoint as they have the X Factor tour to look forward to early next year. We’ll be seeing big things from this ambitious group. Shaka Fridays never let us down with its atmosphere and it can only get better with a 5 After Midnight addition! You won’t want to miss this! http://bit.ly/5AMShakaFriday
